Madhapur is served by MMTS train service, with HiTech City Station a kilometer away. Taxis and automobiles provide transportation between the station and the city. A short distance away is also the Hyderabad Metro Rail. Inner and outer ring roads are being built to alleviate traffic congestion during peak hours and to connect to the new Hyderabad International Airport near Shamshabad. Outer Ring Road (ORR) and HITEC City Road are important roads that connect Madhapur to the main city. The Outer Ring Road takes 45 minutes to get to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. If you’re coming from Gacheguda station, you can take the metro to Hyderabad. Arrive at Malkapet metro station, then Ameerpet station, where you can change to the blue line. Madhapur is only a few minutes away from there. Visitors arriving at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport can take the Pushpak electric bus to Madhapur. The metro lines connecting Hyderabad International Airport to Raidurg are still under construction.
