Himayatnagar is a neighborhood in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is also a Mandal in the Hyderabad District. It was named after Mir Himayat Ali Khan (Azam Jah), the first son of the last Nizam of Hyderabad. Himayatnagar is located on the southeastern side of Hussain Sagar. It is bordered by the towns of Narayanguda, Basheerbagh, and Hyderguda.
