Begumpet (“Begum’s Place”) is an affluent neighborhood in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a fast-growing residential location, situated in the North Zone of Hyderabad. Begumpet is a major commercial and residential enclave in Hyderabad, located north of Hussain Sagar Lake. Begumpet and Panjagutta are linked by the Greenlands flyover. Begumpet was once a small suburb located between Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Begumpet is named after Basheer Unnisa Begum, the daughter of the sixth Nizam (Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI), who received it as part of her wedding dowry when she married the second Amir of Paigah Shams ul Umra Amir e Kabir.

Sanjeevaiah Park is a public park on Hussain Sagar’s banks. Raja Jitendra Public School was located in the town of Greenlands until 1997. It is surrounded by Balanagar, Sanath Nagar, Ameerpet, and Bowenpally and is located near the famous Hussain Sagar Lake.
